(A) Training :- Persons recruited direct for appointment to the category of Senior Civil Police officer shall undergo training for a period of nine months in the Police Training College or in such other Training Centre as may be prescribed by the Director General of Police and practical training for 9 months in a District. During the period of training the trainee shall be paid the minimum of the scale of pay plus usual allowances attached to the post. 
(B) Probation :- Every person appointed by direct recruitment on the above post shall from the date of completion of training be on-probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
