The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023.

     Upper age limit relaxation:
         1) By 5 years for SC/ST, i.e. upto 43 years of age
         2) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC, i.e. upto 41 years of age
         3) By 10 years for PwBD, i.e. upto 48 years of age
         4) In case of of candidates who have been serving in a lower posts or cadres in the service and in the Assam Economics and Statistical-I (Junior) Service for a minimum period of 5 years on the date of application is upto 40 years of age

         5) For Ex-servicemen
               a) Upto 50 years of age for unreserved category
               b) Upto 53 years of age for OBC/MOBC
               c) Upto 55 years of age for SC/STP/STH
